Stage Management Philosophy
Maya strongly believes that how we communicate with each other in preparation for and at the show can make or break our experience as professionals. She works to create an environment led by kindness, respect, and accountability on and off stage to help make a great experience for the performers and crew with the goal that it is then passed to the audience creating an incredible show for everyone! She uses her experience as a performer, via her masters in music performance, as well as knowledge and experience backstage working on tech crews to shape how she works as a stage manager and her role as the point of connection between the performers, creative teams, and crews.
